S/V Blue Star is a 43' Jeantot Privilege catamaran superbly equipped for cruising that can take you and your friends or guests anywhere in the world you wish to go for less money than a new monohull.

I have personally sailed over 17,000 nautical miles on S/V Blue Star throughtout the eastern and southern Caribbean and can attest to her seaworthiness under all conditions.

By "superbly equipped for cruising" I mean that she already has air-conditioning, genset, 40 gallon a hour watermaker, solar panels, wind generator, air compressor, 7 dive tanks, SSB radio, Pactor modem, and radar. If you bought a new boat, you would have to spend at least $70,000 more to add these items to it.

S/V Blue Star features a charter layout with two double cabins in each hull and a fifth double cabin forward of the salon as shown in the diagram below.

The foredeck is combination rigid( center walkway and trampoline (side) with large lockers forward and aft.

The spacious T-Shaped cockpit seats 8 with a double leaft table, lateral sunbathing decks and swim platforms aft.

Let's go on a short tour of the interior of Blue Star. Entering the main salon you will see the newly upholstered settee and large table which has been customized to allow the ends to fold down and the entire table top to slide in and out for easier access into the seating area for 8. Over to starboard you'll note the well-equipped nav station and electric panel for the boat. This boat has 6'4" headroom throughout the interior.

Down the steps into the port hull, on your left you pass by the apartment-sized air-cooled refrigerator, Maytag stove with an oven plenty large enough for that Thanksgiving turkey. On your right is the new double sink, including seawater spigot. Making your way forward, you enter a double cabin with raised ceiling and private bath. All cabins have double berths.

Going aft in the port hull you'll see another double cabin. Crossing over to the starboard hull, you'll find another pair of cabins fore and aft as well as 2 baths. Again the forward cabin has a private bath. The huge amount of storage on Blue Star is exemplified by the entire starboard hull being full of cabinets on both sides as well as the cabinets in the cabins.

Back outside the spacious cockpit with its double-leafed table easily seats 8 and has room for many more. On the forward deck you can see the 2 trampolines and hatches for the sail lockers in each hull. The center hatch is one of 2 hatches for the center cabin. The other, larger hatch not shown here, gives access to the center cabin.
